[Beta] One-Click macOS Setup

This page provides instructions on how to quickly enable Anyone proxy for macOS, automating the steps in the previous guide into one command.

Run this command to instantly start a proxy server and enable it for macOS (on WiFi).

/bin/bash -c "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/anyone-protocol/anon-install/main/macos/start_proxy.sh)"

Press 'control+C' to quit and disable proxy.

This command runs a script that downloads a executable Anyone client from GitHub and executes the client with the configuration below:

SocksPort 127.0.0.1:9050
SocksPolicy accept 127.0.0.1
SocksPolicy reject *
HTTPTunnelPort 9058

The script automatically configures proxy settings on the Wi-Fi interface and enables the proxy.

networksetup -setsocksfirewallproxy "Wi-Fi" 127.0.0.1 9050
networksetup -setsecurewebproxy "Wi-Fi" 127.0.0.1 9058
networksetup -setwebproxy "Wi-Fi" 127.0.0.1 9058

networksetup -setsocksfirewallproxystate "Wi-Fi" on
networksetup -setsecurewebproxystate "Wi-Fi" on
networksetup -setwebproxystate "Wi-Fi" on

The script disables the proxy when 'control+C' is initiated.

networksetup -setsocksfirewallproxystate "Wi-Fi" off
networksetup -setsecurewebproxystate "Wi-Fi" off
networksetup -setwebproxystate "Wi-Fi" off
