# Tokenomics

## Welcome to our Tokenomics

The Anyone Protocol exists to deliver seamless privacy to mainstream internet applications without the trust assumptions limiting traditional VPN solutions. To do this, it leverages a DePIN network of nodes that collaborate to route user traffic privately and trustlessly, while allowing any app to connect to the network using its SDK.

This paper is primarily focused on three mechanisms: the incentive protocol that distributes rewards to network participants; the token requirements for participants in the ecosystem; and peer to peer payments of $ANYONE to relay operators and the protocol. Much like the Anyone whitepaper and docs, this paper intends to be a living document.

### Contributors

This online paper is released by The Foundation For Anyone, as part of a collaboration between key Anyone contributors and notable expert organizations. It builds on the original tokenomics logic released by ATOR Labs. Central to this paper is Austin Seiberlich of CoinCraft; a seasoned tokenomics expert. He brings his highly deductive and logical approach to the new mechanisms for the ANYONE token, often building a rationale from first principles. Another key advisor to the Anyone tokenomics is Max Gold of Gold and Hawks, one of the first DePIN tokenomics experts with experience designing token flows for $MOBILE and $GEOD. Together, they have set the foundation to make DePIN and privacy accessible to Anyone.
